The Lady Mustangs swept, 25-22, 25-17, 25-19. Nixon finishes the regular season with a 12-6 District 29-5A record, 22-16 overall, and advances into the playoffs as the fourth seed. Martin finishes its season at 2-16, 13-20. Leading the way for Nixon was Rosalynn Velasquesz (11 kills, three digs) and Ruby Grace (18 assists, two kills, two aces). Leading Martin was Michelle Perez (14 digs, two points), Kassandra Blanquez (23 assists, five digs) and Kristen Reilly (eight kills).
